West Nottingham Presbyterian Church

Strengthened by our past; Blessed by our present; Encouraged by our future

Remember last seasons play "Peace in the Kingdom"?  We enjoyed the message, drama, and music so much that we have ordered a new play "Stranger at the Table" by the same authors, Cynthia and Michael Marion:

"What happens when you mix a complacent church lacking community, mission and ministry with a transient looking for his next meal?  First, there's resistance when he interrupts their predictable worship.  Then, there's a gradual awakening as they experience his infectious passion for the Christian faith.  In a surprise ending echoing the Emmaus road story, the Stranger vanishes.  The awestruck congregation realizes that they have received a holy Visitor."

Check this website for more information as we plan this production.
